View the moon through silvery prints or look at a mirrored reflection of a garden; experience migrants’ stories and tales of endurance; wonder at explorations of texture and material. See all these at the Gallery 106 in Fulham as Putney School of Art graduating students display their final work with a free exhibition titled Close Up: and Far Away.

The show is the culmination of a two-year course which includes an in-depth examination of art history and movements as well as a diverse range of practical skills such as etching, digital photography, life drawing, 3D construction and collage.

We have come to expect the unexpected of students on this course, but the latest mix of techniques and materials proved even more wide-ranging than usual.”
